"I hereby wish to formally thank you Hilton for the learners lessons I attended with you over the last few weeks. What I did not share with you was that even though I obtained my CODE EB drivers license some 15 years ago, I had to repeat my learners exams at least 7 times then. No, I'm not exaggerating and no, I kid you not! I failed it 6 times then! The anxiety of having to write that test again after all these years was obviously enormous as you can only imagine. I know we got off on a rocky start and I remember you told me straight out that I should not be behind the wheel because I did so badly when I wrote the first test in class! Honestly I was extremely anxious when I wrote the “mock” exam and felt that it was easier studying at UCT than to write my learners again lol :-) I am proud to tell you that not only did I break the jinx passing my learners first time yesterday I did it in style. Just as you advised, I started with the controls of the motorcycle first which gave me immense confidence and saved me a lot of time... Thank you again for all your support and encouragement. I will gladly recommend anyone to attend your classes and can only but sing praises to you and The Driving Coach.
